Center for Business Information and Research welcomes you
to the Montana
Regional Economic Analysis Project. From this web site you may access
web-based programs to create graphic trends analysis of local economic indicators and generate
shift-share analysis of local employment growth. Generate and display customized tabulations of
economic data for the Regions and 56 Counties of Montana compiled by the
Regional Economic Measurement Division (REMD) of the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA). The data
are annual, spanning 39 years -- from 1969
to 2007.

The Bureau of Business and Economic Research (BBER) has been
providing information about Montana’s state and local economies for over 50 years. Economists at the Bureau
research and collect a wide variety of economic and industry data which assist businesses, government agencies,
and individuals across Montana. Several research programs within the Bureau study the statewide industries of
forest products, health care, manufacturing, and oil and gas. Bureau personnel are available to respond to
